Whether you’re a seasoned burlesque artist, drag performer, or still aspiring towards your first act, this class offers accessible and playful techniques to help you move with confidence, purpose, and your individual flair!
Learn how to pick up choreography with less stress, feel more comfortable exploring character choices and storytelling and explore themes like character, intention, and emotional expression. You’ll learn choreography set to summery, pop bangers that’s both repeatable and remixable, built to give you space to experiment and hone your own performance style! Come to learn some new moves – leave with more confidence, creative tools, and a stronger connection to your creative instincts.
Some dance experience is recommended for this class – no prior burlesque or drag experience is required.
What to Bring: A pen + paper, water and indoor shoes (heels or non-mark runners to your preference), knee pads and clothes you can move in.
