Spin this way and join Cherry OnTop for an afternoon of voracious Veil wrangling fun!
Veils, both weighted or unweighted, are a glorious prop of burlesque and are a beautiful way to add movement, texture and drama to an act.
In this workshop you will learn how to hold a veil, flow, move and spin with the prop, plus learn some spinning tips and tricks. We will learn a bepsoke choreo to help you link together movements and start to become one with your prop.
Come prepared to twirl, flow, spin, surprise, rotate, reveal and swish swish, Bish!

What to wear/bring: water, a silk veil if you have (we will be working with unweighted veils) or a light weight rectangular piece of fabric, clothing you’re comfortable moving in, barefoot or in dance heels. There will be a few weighted silk veils to try at the end of the workshops as well.
